📣On May we had  one more stage of Track1 – Long term project about outdoor education.

We hosted participants from Georgia, Ukraine, and Armenia for one week in frame of Job shadowing part.

🧐They were exploring the experience of our organization  and the main working outdoor methodologies that we are using with youngsters.

🍃We organized a small excursion for participants around the Osiedle Jazdow and show different NGOs working in our community currently.

🏡They were introduced to our PoPracownia project, which we are currently implementing for Ukrainians who were forced to move to Poland due to Russia’s military aggression.

The participants of Job Shadowing took part in art workshops and had the opportunity to spend a day in our office at OsiemprzezDwa and observe how our organization works these days.

🇵🇱One of the goals we set when preparing this project was to introduce  Polish culture to the participants, so Paulina organized a day of intense and positive adventures for them.

🪕Participants visited Center for the Polish Folklore, they got aware about traditional polish culture, dances, costumes, musical instruments.

🌳They tracked beautiful Kampinos National Park, Hike has been filled with lots of emotions.

🎼 At end of thay, participants visited Żelazowa Wola place where Frederic Chopin was born.

⛳️Next days, participants attended a scout conference.  With the support of trainers from our organization, they conducted small activities with youngsters and learned to be youth leaders.

🌳Then started the main part of Job shadowing in Jagodno, a marvelous place which is surrounded by beautiful forest and mountains.

⚜️Main purpose of the visit was to observe how our organization is working with kids through low rope courses and what kind of methodologies are we using in outdoor education.

🥾Job shadowers were divided in small groups and participated in different outdoor workshops with kids such as low rope course, mission impossible in the forest, survival outdoor cooking, hike to the Jagodno area.

🪵Job shadowers learned how to implement these activities in their local communities as a useful tool for outdoor education.

🌃The final part of the program was a visit to the city of Wroclaw. This ended the Job shadowing in Poland.

🇷🇴The next stage of the Trek1 project was a trip to Romania – see previous publications.

🇬🇪And now we are preparing for the youth exchange, which will take place in Georgia in August.

📈Participation in international projects, both as participants and as a host organization, is very valuable for us, because it provides incredibly useful experience and an impetus for development.

Here it is a nice feedback by Mariana Ewsewska who participated Track 1 project in Warsaw, Poland🇵🇱

“Hi!

My name Mariana and this is my first experience first experience as a program participant. So obviously I don’t have any other thoughts and can’t compare.

But I really liked the program. it was very informative and interesting. It lasted 1 week and we changed 3 locations(2 cities and mountains). We observed how the Polish organization works and gained experience from them, worked with scouts and students. All participant were involved in process and shared their experiences. Also we did a lot of sightseeing and I can confidently say that Poland is an incredible country with cool people!)” 🙃🫶

“Hello, my name is Agatha!

Job shadowing on the project Track 1 was the experience after which I can take a lot with me. There were activities, new skills and new types of work with youth that I can use in my own work and projects. The perspective, attitude and approach of people who we were job shadowing was inspiring. We observed the work of different Polish organizations. This programm taught me to look on things from different angels, analyze and reflect. How many aspects important from humanity (communication, trust etc.) you can cover with just one game or low rope! I’m really thankful for this opportunity.”🫶😊
